I first got the idea for doing a kit to help landlords gain access if tenants refuse to let them in for the annual gas safety inspection quite a long time ago.
It seemed unfair that landlords should be vulnerable to being prosecuted when being prevented from complying with the regulations by their tenants. It also seemed unfair that the cost of getting an injunction is so high when using solicitors.
So I decided to develop a kit to help. But it took a long time – largely because I do not have much experience with getting court injunctions myself.
Then, in January 2014 I teamed up with housing barrister Robert Brown. He has done lots of ‘gas injunctions’ and so has been able to deal with drafting up all the Court paperwork and advising on what to do at the Court hearing.
This has allowed me to get the rest of the site done and up online for sale so you can use it!
However this site is not just the kit.
We are also using it to keep a record of prosecutions under the gas regulations – so you can see the sort of thing that can happen if you get it wrong.
We will also be adding other content from time to time. If you want to be kept informed, sign up to the >> mailing list
